Yesterday I went to one of the many Induction Events (i.e. University Orientation for Staff) that I have to go to. It was about Health and Safety; important topics to be sure. We were in a conference room lined with pictures of people who had been named Honorary Fellows over the years. As I stood up to go to get some coffee, I glanced at the pictures right behind me. Who was directly over my right shoulder??
Jane Horrocks!!!! She was born in Lancashire and was made and Honorary Fellow back in 1999.
I had a silly grin all though the the rest of the training as they talked about how to avoid accidents in the workplace. I wanted to raise my hand and say, "Easy way to avoid accidents? Don't hire Bubble!"
